Description
Yosemite National Park is filled with so many breathtaking vistas. I continously walk around in awe of the beauty that is all around. Yosemite Valley seems to have one landmark right after another. I've never seen anything else like it in the world.
This image was captured from Glacier Point on the first day that the road was open for the spring. This area that this image was captured from can receive up to and over 500 inches of snow per year.
On the left of the image, just below the cloud is North Dome. In the center right of the image is a rock formation known as Clouds Rest. You can't see much of it do to the clouds resting up against it. On the right is Half Dome with the top half hidden in cloud cover.
Further to the right and not in this image is Vernal and Nevada Falls.
Anyone that visits Yosemite really needs to experience the view from up here. To walk out towards the edge of shear cliffs that drop almost 3,000 feet can really take your breath away.

Not a perspective I've often seen of half dome -- awesome panorama looking down that valley!
