Description
Rockville Reflections
Rockville Regional Park is one of my regular hiking destinations near home. The park is a little over 600 acres on the outside of Fairfield, Ca. This gem of a park has plenty of hiking trails that range from easy to difficult as some of the trails go up into rock formations that can be fairly steep.
It had been a little while since I had visited due to the drought conditions and other commitments in my life. The last time I visited in the spring the little pond pictured here was completely dry as was another nearby.
So after a few decent rains I decided to go back out and see how well the ponds had recovered. From what I could tell is that they have recovered well for this time of year and with more rains coming hopefully we can declare an end to the drought.
Anyways, I was so happy to see that the ponds had recovered and that there was absolutely zero wind that allowed me to capture this beautiful mirror image.
