On Time,
This art work is on display outside of the Colfax train station and heritage museum in Colfax California.
This train station was built by Southern Pacific Railroad in 1905 and was recently restored in the 21st century.
For Amtrack customers, you can catch the California Zephyr, and through connecting lines travel wherever Amtrack will take you.
The Union Pacific Railroad now owns the tracks and they are used extensively hauling freight from the Northern California ports to destinations throughout the country.
I saw this display and found it light and humorous, something most of us could use these days. The way the railroad agent is looking at his watch, I would guess that perhaps the train is not on time?
