The Wayfarer,
The North Coast of California is a beautiful place to visit. My wife and I try to visit as often as possible, when we can. On this trip my daughter and son in law bought my wife a couple of nights at one of the hotels over looking the ocean in Ft. Bragg.
Whenever I am along the water I seem to be drawn to the boats and piers. They seem to be so colorful in more ways than one.
We were down in Noyo Harbor eating some fresh clam chowder. After eating the chowder and sipping on a cold beer we walked along the Harbor. I spotted this fishing trawler and just loved all the lines and colors in this scene. I captured the image and as a photograph it was nice but something told me that this needed more. I used a number of filters and a couple of programs to give this image an oil painting look. I hope you like it.
