How do you describe this beautiful area tucked in North Central Arizona not too far south of the Grand Canyon.
In this case, I think a picture speaks thousands of words. You could forever try to describe the beautiful rock formations but I'm not sure that words are adequate.
I have been especially blessed as both times now, that I have been to Sedona, I have had a canopy of clouds overhead creating a fantastic light interplay that is displayed on the face of these beautiful red cliffs of sandstone.
This image was captured from the Courthouse Vista parking lot looking east towards Sedona. I was able to catch this image as a storm threatened through the afternoon.
