Description
Redwall Cavern
We came across Redwall Cavern during our second day down the Colorado River. This is a huge cavern that had been carved out thousands of years ago by the erosive power of the Colorado River.
When John Wesley Powell discovered this cavern he estimated that it could hold 50,000 people. I personally think he over estimated the size by roughly double it is still a very large cavern.
