Description
McArtur-Burney Falls Creek,
I recently drove up to the northeastern corner of California as it is one part of the state I hadn't visited yet. About an hour east of Redding is McArthur-Burney State Park with of course the McArthur-Burney Falls.
This is the creek that runs below the falls. It is an early autumn capture and so some of the tree's are starting to turn colors.
The falls and trail along the creek is a relatively short hike, just over a mile. I took my time along the hike and just fell in love with the lighting along the creek. I stopped and set up my tripod for some long exposure captured using a ND filter to give the water a cotton candy look. I hope you like it as well.

Fabulous autumn riverscape photograph with great use of long exposure, rushing waters, colors, and composition!
