Maroon Bells Panoramic
Maroon Bells just outside of Aspen Colorado had always been on my bucket list. This mountain landscape is one of the more majestic places I have ever had the privilege to take in a good long hike.
I was able to time the trip almost perfectly for the fall color season. The aspen trees were dressed in their best fall colors and the big puffy clouds in the sky kept the afternoon cool and delightful.
I captured this image looking northeast over Maroon Lake from just below Crater Lake.
