Rocky Mountain National Park
I had one chance to get up in the mountains on a visit to Colorado some time back. My family and I were in Boulder for a wedding and I knew I had one day to visit the park. Despite the nice sunny look, at 14,000 ft it was rather cold that day up in the summit.
I wish I could have gone the previous day when a storm was skirting the area but we had family obligations. Although, to me, this is very beautiful, I can only imagine what it would have looked like with clouds moving around the peaks.
