Napa Valley Balloons
If you've ever driven through the Napa in the early morning there is a big chance that you've seen hot air balloons gracefully floating through the valley. The winds in the valley are generally calm in the morning and they pick up in the afternoon. So if you do want to see the balloons in the valley you have to be up early.
As I was one day as I had a photo shoot that morning at valley winery. I had been driving up the road towards Calistoga and noticed some balloons starting to inflate. I had a little time to spare so I turned around. By the time I was able to turn around and find a place to park they were completely inflated and ready to launch.
