The Pt. Reyes Abstract.
I don't do too many abstracts but I do like them. I'm normally looking at the big picture, the wide open spaces. But abstracts help me see what I don't normally look for. Typically from my point of view shooting abstracts requires me to get close, real close. So close that the real object is no longer recognizable.is the case here I suspect. I have shot this ship/boat numerous times but for some reason I saw the lines in the bow with the curves and the slightly diagonal lines and the textures of the weathered wood and sand. This just kind of came together.
