Petaluma Poultry Producers,
This little section of this little city in Northern California has always intrigued me. The old buildings about a block off of the Petaluma River must have some interesting stories to tell. I could almost here them in the dark of night.
At one time Petaluma was a major egg producer for the people of the San Francisco Bay Area. The boats would travel the 10 or so miles down the river and across San Pablo Bay over to the city. There they would deliver their eggs and chickens to the markets.
I really liked the way the light and shadows played in this image.
