Bridalveil Falls II metal print by Bill Gallagher. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
Bridalveil Falls II
Many of my images are described with me using the words, "one of my favorite places". I guess I do that because there are so many places in Yosemite Valley that I just absolutely love.
This image was captured from a small turnout on the side of the Merced River. I've taken many images from this spot. This one has been done in black and white, color, landscape and portrait.
By looking to the left you will see the granite face of El Capitan with the Merced River running in the foreground.
During the spring the water runs, swift, cold, and dangerous. In the late fall the water slows and the water level drops.
I really like this one as the falls are still flowing fairly strong. This is one of the last waterfalls to dry up in Yosemite Valley and on a good wet year it will flow year round.
