Not too far from here out on the Sacramento River just north of Suisun Bay is Grizzly Island. Out on Grizzly Island there is an elk herd so they say.
I love capture natures beauty with my camera and share it friends and family. Sometimes when I don't have anything going on I'll jump in my car and see where I end up. A number of times I've driven out to Grizzly Island looking for the elusive elk herd they say is out there. I've been out there at least a dozen times and have yet to see an elk. I have seen white herons ducks, and plenty of fishermen but I have never seen an elk out there.
One day while driving around right near sun set I was getting frustrated at my lack of subjects to shoot. I pulled over to slow down and just kind of scope out the area. that's when I saw this fence. I found it odd that the fence ran into the water but I really enjoyed the light on it and the pattern that it created. I hope you do to.
