Sonoma Valley Creek.
Between the town of Sonoma and the city of Santa Rosa in Sonoma County in Northern California is the Sonoma Valley Regional Park. I was hiking in this area in late winter/early spring after some pretty good rains.
Many creeks and small waterfalls such as this are dry by mid summer. I was lucky to come up to this park when I did as this little jewel was running fairly strong. The lush green hills in the background and the moss covered rocks on the banks of this river set this little waterfall
up making it like a little treasure in this Sonoma park.
