Pacifica Sunset,
Just south of San Francisco by roughly 20 minutes is the little town of Pacifica. This is where highway 1 starts down the California Coast along the Pacific Ocean.
My wife and I spent a day tasting some specialty beers and walking on the beach down near Santa Cruz. We decided to take the longer, windier way home up coast.
I was hoping to make it into San Francisco to catch sunset at the Golden Gate Bridge. As we neared Pacifica it became clear that I wouldn't make it to San Francisco for sunset. So we decided to find a place to park so that we could enjoy the sunset in Pacifica. I'm glad we stopped.
