The new Span of the Oakland-SanFrancisco Bay Bridge opened not log after Labor Day in 2013. I was down on Treasure Island not long after. I decided that this was my favorite image of the night. I was real lucky as the night was relatively still and I was able to get some reflections on the water.
If you look closely behind the span is what remained at that time of the old span. The bridge is beautifully lit with programable LED lights and in the far background is the port of Oakland.
