Mirror Lake Boulder.
This boulder sits in Mirror Lake underneath the towering walls of Half Dome in Yosemite Valley. The lake is slowly becoming a meadow as the sediment from the surrounding mountains flows down and fills the lake,
With the current drought we are having here in the west Mirror lake has dried up completely during the late summer and fall before the winter rains bring life back into it.
This boulder caught my eye in late winter with the nice clean reflection and the deep green water.
