Golden Gate in the Fog
Many of my excursions take place in and around the San Francisco Bay and the city of San Francisco itself. On this particular day I started my walk/hike down at the east end of Christy Fields. As we made our way towards the Golden Gate Bridge the fog started creeping in. By the time we get even close to the bridge the fog had at times completely hidden it. Depending on the wind we could see it or not for a few minutes here and there. I stopped near this pier to look for other items to photograph and the fog started clearing. I really like this image because it instantly tells you were the image was taken but it also gives a sense of atmosphere that many times you just won't see.
