Golden Gate Bridge and Ft Baker.
After getting fogged in at the top of the Golden Gate Bridge we took the elevator back down to the deck and this small clearing appeared. To my back was a wall of fog so thick that you could barely see 100 ft.
This image is captures the beauty of the Marin County the waterfront below. Below is the San Francisco Bay and then a little deeper into the background is Horseshoe Bay. Then behind Horseshoe Bay is Ft. Baker.
Ft. Baker was established by the Army in 1950 under President Millard Fillmore and was an active Army post into the mid 90's.
