Balboa Park Walkway.
I recently spent a quite early morning exploring the architecture of Balboa Park in San Diego California. Because I woke early and arrived before the crowds came out I was able to walk around relatively undisturbed. It was a beautiful morning.
I parked across the street from the San Diego Junior Theatre as I didn't want to have the car in the way of the pictures I was taking. I shot the theatre for awhile and then started moving on. As I walked down the empty street to move further into the park I came to another side of the building and saw this impressive walkway. I have always looked for symmetry in my images when possible and love repeating patterns so it turns out that this walkway in front of the building was exactly what I was looking for. The fact that I was early enough to beat the crowds I only needed to wait a few minutes for the young lady that was midway down to walk out of sight.
