It seems like every town that has more than a couple of hundred people has a place like Joes. Joe's is actually much newer than many of the barber shops that I see in these towns. But this is very fitting for the feel that I was trying to get.
The red, white, and blue barber pole on the outside, the red leather chairs on the inside, old bottles of elixirs and what not set up on the shelf. This is my kind of place. Actually never stepped foot in this barber shop. I should as I get tired of going to the chains all the time. I'll have to keep this place in mind next time I get my hair cut.
